World Cup Village

Bike Demo

Inspired by the Pro’s? Or just saving hard for that next great upgrade? The massive choice of so many superb shiny machines out there makes a bewildering task of investing your hard earned cash in that new ride...You’ve done your research and you’ve narrowed it down to two / maybe three.....What you really need is to ride them so you know it’s the one you want...well it’s possible that you may just be able to make that choice at the World Cup. A selection of brands will be demoing their bikes from the Event Village. We have provided a short 5km demo loop with a mix of fire road and Singletrack to let you test your next dream machine.

Each manufacturer will be running their own demo bikes and they will guide you through their processes – if you wish to demo a bike, you will definitely need your helmet and any normal protection you use. You are also likely to need some identification and a credit card.

The demo loop is ‘red grade’ trail. You need to be aware that mountain biking includes inherent risk, you are responsible for what you do on the bike, so if you do intend to demo please take care, respect yourself, the bike and other people. Remember no helmet – no ride – no exceptions.

With so much to do on site it would be easy to forget that racing is the main reason to be Dalby Forest this May. All the World Cup races will pass through the Event Village three times on every lap and if you don’t want to venture any further into the forest you can see every race won and lost without needing to venture any further than this. As well as the Start/Finish of the race the Feed Zone & Pit Area are also situated on the perimeter of the race village.
